DAY 1 • Barletta
Arrival at Bari airport. Pick up your rental car. Free time and accommodation in Barletta.
DAY 2 • Barletta
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Castel del Monte, as well as the charming coastal town of Trani, renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively port. Accommodation in Barletta.
DAY 3 • Lecce
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Lecce. Before arriving you will have the opportunity to visit Ostuni, the “città bianca” (white city), a true gem south of Bari, perched atop a hill. The region is renowned for its production of top-quality olive oil. Free time to explore the historic center, sample local specialties, buy some souvenirs, or simply stroll through the medieval streets. In the late afternoon, drive to Lecce, in the heart of the Salento region. Accommodation in Lecce.
JOUR 4 • Lecce
Breakfast at the hotel. A day dedicated to exploring Lecce. Its distinctive feature lies in the Baroque style of its buildings, such as the cathedral, the Basilica of Santa Croce, and the Piazza del Duomo. You may also visit the coastal town of Otranto, with its castle and Romanesque cathedral boasting impressive mosaics, or Gallipoli, famous for its beaches and lively atmosphere. DAY 5 • Conversano
After breakfast, depart by car for a morning stroll in Monopoli, a small gem on the coast with its picturesque port, colorful alleyways, and squares overlooking the sea. Next, check into your hotel in Conversano. Enjoy an aperitif tasting at a gourmet bistro in the heart of the old town, with views of the castle and the main square. Accommodation in Conversano.
DAY 6 • Conversano
Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the morning exploring Bari, the capital of Puglia, with its old town and lively streets. In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll to Polignano a Mare, known for its breathtaking sea views from its many panoramic terraces. Accommodation in Conversano.
DAY 7 • Conversano
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Itria Valley (Valle d’Itria), renowned for its unique landscape of rolling hills, ancient olive groves, and charming whitewashed villages such as Locorotondo and Cisternino, potential stops to explore during the day. Accommodation in Conversano.
JOUR 8 • Bari
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Bari airport for your return flight.
