DAY 1 • Milan
Arrival in Milan, Malpensa airport and private transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, meet with local guide at the hotel and enjoy a walking tour of Milan, passing by the Modern Art Museum, the Cathedral – Duomo di Milano, la Scala Opera House, Castello Sforzesco (medieval fortress) and so much more. Conclude the day with a tasteful aperitivo (happy hour) at a refined bakery. Accommodation in Milan.
DAY 2 • Milan • Bernina Express • St. Moritz • Milan
After breakfast, depart to Tirano to begin your Bernina Express Adventure. Board the historic Bernina Express train, which offers stunning alpine views during its two-hour journey. Admire the Swiss Alps as you ride along the Bernina pass to St. Moritz and then enjoy free time to explore it. Return to Milan and accommodation.
DAY 3 • Milan • Como • Bellagio • Bergamo
After breakfast, depart for Como, a charming town in Lake Como. Enjoy scenic views of the lake and alpine valleys during your boat trip to Bellagio. Explore its picturesque streets, luxury hotels, and gardens. Have lunch at leisure at one of the local restaurants or cafés. Continue to Tremezzo/Villa Carlotta to meet your driver and depart for Bergamo, a city characterized by its urban structure, the città alta (upper town) houses the city’s medieval heart surrounded by the majestic Venetian Walls, while the città bassa (lower town) is modern and dynamic. Supper and accommodation in Bergamo.
DAY 4 • Bergamo • Sirmione • Riva del Garda • Bergamo
After breakfast, embark on a panoramic boat tour of Lake Garda‘s west coast. Admire the beautiful natural landscape, including the Brenta Dolomites and the slopes of the Moraine Hills of Lower Garda. Reaching Sirmione, witness the stunning views of Lake Garda and Sirmione Castle, as well as the Grottoes (ruins) of Catullus. Enjoy some free time for lunch. Continue to Riva del Garda, a quaint Venetian-style town on the north side of the lake. Supper and accommodation in Bergamo.
DAY 5 • Bergamo • Verona • Franciacorta • Milan
After breakfast, enjoy a guided visit of the charming city of Verona. Explore the city’s rich history, from its Roman origins to the medieval structures, Renaissance palaces and fortifications. Discover the famous balcony of Juliet’s home (Romeo & Juliet). Continue to the Franciacorta region, known for its ideal grape-growing conditions and wine making. Enjoy a light lunch and taste the renowned local wine. Accommodation in Milan.
DAY 6 • Milan
After breakfast, transfer to Milan airport.
