DAY 1 • Zagreb
Arrival at Zagreb airport and transfer to the hotel. Meet with your tour escort and group for a welcome drink. Supper and accommodation in Zagreb.
DAY 2 • Zagreb • Opatija • 175 km
After breakfast, depart for a guided walking tour of Zagreb. In the fortified medieval Upper Town, you will see St. Mark’s Church, with its multicolored roof tiles, the Parliament, the Government Palace and many other important monuments. You will then continue to Opatija, a small town located in the picturesque Kvarner Bay. Supper and accommodation in Opatija.
DAY 3 • Opatija • Pula • Rovinj • Motovun • Opatija • 245 km
After breakfast, depart to discover the Istrian Peninsula. You will have the opportunity to visit the Roman Colosseum in Pula, dating back to 2000 years ago. Afterwards, depart for Rovinj, one of the most beautiful cities of Istria. Time at leisure to visit the city. Continue to Motovun for a sample of one of Istria’s treasures, the truffle. DAY 4 • Opatija • Plitvice • 187 km
After breakfast, depart for the most beautiful and oldest national park in Croatia, under the protection of UNESCO. Plitvice Lakes National Park is located in the region of Lika and includes 16 lakes connected by 92 stunning waterfalls. Enjoy a boat ride across the emerald green lake “Kozjak”. The visit lasts approximately 3 hours. Supper and accommodation at the hotel within proximity to Plitvice National Park.
DAY 5 • Plitvice • Zadar • Split • 291 km
After breakfast, depart for the historic town of Zadar. Here you will see the Roman forum dated 1st Century AD, the church of St-Donatus and the famous Zadar Sea Organ. DAY 6 • Split • Trogir • Split • 58 km
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for a panoramic tour of Split, a city famous for its eclectic architecture. Visit the Diocletian’s Palace, built in the late fourth century by the Emperor. Continue to Trogir, a UNESCO site, with 2300 years of continuous urban tradition. Visit and lunch at Tragos restaurant where you will be served a traditional Dalmatian meal. Accommodation in Split.
DAY 7 • Split • Ston • Dubrovnik • 240 km
Breakfast at the hotel and depart for Dubrovnik. Along the way, you will stop near the town of Ston, visit a local winery and taste the famous wine “Plavac Mali”. The wine tasting includes a presentation of the winemaking process, as well as a light snack. Depart for Dubrovnik. Supper and accommodation in Dubrovnik.
DAY 8 • Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a panoramic guided tour of Dubrovnik, a city that remains almost untouched since the 13th century. Visit the Franciscan Monastery and time at leisure to explore the city on your own or enjoy a promenade down the stone paved avenue known as Stradun. Accommodation in Dubrovnik.
